Our cultural relationship to Spirituality is dramatically shifting. Many say it is an evolutionary step. Others say it is the demise of morality. Whatever it may be, it seems obvious our old understandings and ways of being no longer provide adequate answers to our most basic questions--both material and spiritual.

The Facticity Wisdom School  includes exploration in the following three areas most often overlooked in the spiritual realm:

• Linguistic Integrity: an ability to use language to keep the paradoxical nature of things in the listener's and speaker's awareness--an attentiveness to the unconscious presuppositions and implications of language that continue to support choosing one polarity over the other--to bring into awareness linguistic patterns that set up what you like against what you dislike.
  
• Polarity Blindness: an unawareness of a continual choosing of spiritual over material--a bias against separation and for unity resulting in an unconscious collapsing of multiple levels of reality into Oneness, with this Oneness being unity, connection, mystery, (or any term you wish).   Since spiritual and material are interconnected, polarity blindness leads to inevitable difficulties and suffering.
  
• Inner Spiritual Terrorism: a profoundly well-intended, unconscious, and subtle reign of terror by an inner spiritual identity over other inner identities that in any way attempt to divert the person's energy away from the spiritual identity's goal.

To provide the richness and integrity of spiritual guidance we are requesting from ourselves, we must be ruthlessly honest about where we stand.  If we feel the spiritual is the sole answer to today's problems, we are overlooking the higher mystical, paradoxical perception that is now available to us all.
