Love tells me I am everything.
Wisdom tells me I am nothing.
Between these two,
my life flows.

Spiritual Life

Like the unbalancing effects of an earthquake, our sense of existential ground is being deeply disturbed--as individuals, families, organizations, communities, nations. Even as we find the courage to reach out, or in, or back to find some stability in our existential Source, it does not come easily.

The challenges to our spiritual understandings are great. To be a truly healing force in today's world, we must find within ourselves:

  • Wisdom deep enough to embrace all levels of reality and the challenging questions central to our material world
  • Maturity ripe enough to hold these material concerns as equally important, useful, and necessary to creating a wise and purposeful life on earth
  • Vision large enough to bridge the spiritual/material polarity and provide guidelines for living in the resulting paradox and uncertainty of a creative process in motion.
  • A Marketplace Mystic that embraces polarities and frees us to live in paradox, ambiguity, and uncertainty with mystical calm, presence, and inner peace.

“Rather than searching for something that would keep me safe from change, I could reach for a home in the shifting shadows and light surrounding me.”
