Her study and understanding of the ancient system of Labyrinths for prayer and meditation have made her an expert Labyrinth facilitator for our modern culture. She trained as a labyrinth facilitator at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and assisted in a special labyrinth pilgrimage to Chartres Cathedral in France, site of one of the oldest known labyrinths in the world. Narayana’s work has introduced hundreds of people to this form of peaceful contemplation through the creation of her popular Labyrinth Workshops for Meditation and the unique Labyrinth Walk for Couples.
Narayana is the first graduate of the Facticity Wisdom School based in Seattle, WA. Her study of Paradox Management led her to become a co-facilitator at the Facticity Wisdom School. With Ragini Michaels, she co-developed the school curriculum, designed and created materials used during experiential exercises to explore course concepts, and implemented the use of special rituals to support and enhance group processes.
Her unique skills and background made Narayana the perfect partner for conducting the Wisdom School. Not only does she have expertise in healing modalities, she also has an extensive background in education and is a Certified Montessori Teacher in both Early Childhood and Elementary I.
